Let's gather together to nourish our souls as well as our bodies.
Creating a bigger 'We'.
Very deliberately, we deliver the Pencil programme through a group retreat. Why? Because living in relationship with each other is the only path to live a wholehearted life. In fact, not to live this way is to amputate part of ourselves. In these times of individualism and, despite social media, increasing disconnectedness, people are yearning for it.
During the retreat, we'll teach you not only why living in community is vital to our vitality, we'll show you how to enter into it. And as soon as the retreat begins, we'll practice together. We are already connected, so we'll gently add some critical yeast to the group, so that our connectedness spreads infectiously and extends into your home and work lives. We'll create a bigger 'We'.
When asked what made Mother Teresa such an remarkable human being, Xavier Le Pichon, the renowned geophysicist, described her 'extraordinary capacity to enter into relationship with others'. Fittingly, the second chapter of the Pencil programme will show you how to transform your personal and professional relationships. As if that wasn't tantilising enough, we'll explain the neuroscience behind how this will boost your immune system and help you to live a longer and happier life.
The retreat is set in a luxurious and secluded location within the English countryside, providing you with the space to unwind from your daily stresses and to reconnect with nature. Looking after you at the retreat will be Pauline, who's spent the last 25 years delivering VIP hospitality programmes for major sporting events around the world, including 11 Olympic Games. You can see Pauline in action in the photograph below, where a rather special guest visited her hospitality programme for the 2014 Commonwealth Games (Pauline is on the left, with short hair).
We carefully designed our programme to provide you with the perfect balance of learning and nourishment. You'll feel inspired, yet refreshed, whilst being treated to the most delicious, fresh, homemade food and refreshments, all set within a nurturing and peaceful environment.
